Prints and Giclees

Erarta Print

The Erarta Print is a digital print of a painting from the Erarta Museum Collection on material similar to that of the original. The process of making a print does not involve the complicated finishing stage; however it is still covered with a protective finish.

Giclee

A giclee (French for 'spraying') varies from print to print by an additional hand-finishing technique done by Erarta's specialists.

We introduced our own method based on the technique of the classic giclee making - the Erarta Giclee. This method reproduces the finest colour and tone nuances, as well as the character and texture of a brushstroke. The state-of-the-art scanner recognizes the texture of the original colour surface of classic and pastose painting. The further hand finishing stage which includes colour and lacquers application produces the complete look of the original.

  • image scale 1:1 or any other
  • facsimile reproduction: the image is as close to the original as possible in terms of colour and texture
  • hand finishing of a giclee
  • quality certificate provided by the manufacturer
