The magazine is about contemporary art, but not only contemporary art. The hero of the second issue is the poet and artist Vladlen Gavrilchik.
The painting, graphics, sculpture, and objects published in the catalogue are united by the fact that these works deliver interpretations of Biblical and mythological scenes and heroes.
The catalogue presents works by Nikolay Sazhin devoted to issues that he is always faithful to, i.e. love and death depicted as gods Eros and Thanatos .
Erarta publishing activity implies publication of periodical museum and gallery catalogues, as well as the journal of contemporary art.
Museum catalogue
The Erarta museum catalogue is a periodical edition that introduces the wide audience of its readers to contemporary art presented in the museum collection. Four-color process, reader-friendly layout and modern design make it attractive for readers of different ages and backgrounds. Every catalogues presents a selection of works by contemporary artists united by a certain motif. Each work is commented by art and literary critics, philosophers, and just eloquent people in a free style manner. These texts offer the reader a possible interpretation of the work. Erarta organizes competitions to choose most interesting and ingenious texts commenting exhibits from its collection, and everyone is welcome to participate. The winning texts will be published in the coming issues of the catalogue.
Gallery catalogue
Every group or personal exhibition held in Erarta galleries has a published catalogue that includes the concept of the exhibition, brief information about the artist, and illustrations with the works exhibited.
Journal
A new popular edition of Erarta project is the journal "Non-standArt" devoted to contemporary art and addressed to the wide audience of its amateurs. The aim of the journal is to disclose the ambiguous world of art, to draw attention to discussion of complicated problems, as well as to controversial issues in the history of art and contemporary culture. Every issue of the journal is going to be devoted to a Russian artist whose works are displayed in Erarta. The choice of the hero is determined by ingenuity of author's position. The journal is also going to cover Erarta activity, inform on fore-coming exhibitions, and pre-planned events.
