Tatiana Badanina

Member of the Artists’ Union of Russia and Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Tatiana Badanina was born in 1955 in Nizhny Tagil in the Urals Region and graduated from the School of Visual and Graphic Arts of the Nizhny Tagil State Pedagogical Institute. She currently lives and works in Moscow.

Tatiana Badanina works across different media, creating paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, installations, and light and kinetic objects. Her art is simultaneously simple and complex: simple in the way she expresses her creative ideas and complex in the metaphysical dimension of her vision and non-verbal quality of her text, engaging the viewer in a cultural dialogue.
