Can I buy a single-entry ticket?
E-Tickets available online and Fast Track Tickets available at the museum’s ticket counters for 1000 rubles entitle you to a single fast track entry without registration and offer a glimpse into our permanent collection, Erarta’s signature projects (with the exception of U-Spaces), and temporary exhibitions. However, one visit is definitely not enough to appreciate the huge variety of contemporary art forms that we have on display. Each year, we stage 40 temporary exhibitions alternately focusing on painting, sculpture, photography, fashion, design, and video art to showcase the entire gamut of contemporary creative practices. With this in mind and as a courtesy to our guests, we let each visitor with an E-Ticket or a Fast Track Ticket register their Tickets at counters 9 or 10 prior to leaving the museum – and return to Erarta for free for a whole year.
-
Can I buy a separate ticket to visit a particular exhibition?
No. As we make the point of demonstrating the rich variety of contemporary art, all our Tickets and Memberships allow the visitor to experience our permanent collection and all temporary exhibitions, as well as Erarta’s signature projects. Separate tickets are only required for the U-Space immersive installations and can be purchased at counters 9 or 10 (Members can book 2 U-Space sessions per year at no extra charge).

What is the difference between the 1000 ruble E-Ticket and the 800 ruble Ticket?
The 800 ruble Ticket is only available at the museum’s ticket counters, and you will have to wait in a queue to buy it and go through a registration procedure by filling out a short questionnaire and having your picture taken. The photograph is required to enable our smart turnstiles to recognise the Ticket holder for fast track admission throughout the year.
The E-Ticket is available online. It allows its holder to skip the queues by using the dedicated fast track entrance and scanning the bar code at the turnstiles from a printout or phone screen. The E-Ticket can also be registered prior to leaving the museum building, allowing its holder to return to Erarta for free for 365 days from the date of purchase.
-
What is the difference between a Ticket and a Membership?
A Ticket costs 800 rubles and entitles its holder to unlimited fast track admission to the museum and all temporary exhibitions for 365 days from the date of purchase. Ticket holders can also listen to our complimentary audio guides through their account.
Members have more fun. Erarta Membership not only entitles you to 365 days of unlimited fast track admission from the date of purchase, but grants a number of additional privileges:
— plus-one invitations to exhibition previews and artist talks
— a chance to experience Erarta’s signature projects, including 2 complimentary U-Space sessions
— a 20% discount on Fast Track Tickets for your guests — only 800 rubles instead of 1000

How do I register my Ticket or Membership?
The registration procedure consists of filling out a short questionnaire (online or by hand) and having your picture taken to enable our smart turnstiles recognise you for fast track access. The procedure takes only a couple of minutes. Registered Members and Ticket holders enter the museum through a dedicated fast track entrance and smart turnstiles for a streamlined and enjoyable visitor experience every time they return to see new exhibitions.
-
Can I pay for a Ticket or Membership with a Pushkin Card?
No. We are not participating in this programme.
-
Are U-Space sessions included in the Ticket/Membership price?
If you have purchased a Ticket for 800 rubles, an E-Ticket or a Fast Track Ticket for 1000 rubles, then you will need a separate ticket to experience any of the U-Space immersive installations. The ticket costs 200 rubles and admits a group of up to 5 people to the U-Space of your choice. These tickets are available at counters 9 and 10. We recommend you get one right after arriving at the museum, as on certain days the guests have to wait for up to 1.5 hours for the earliest available U-Space session.
Members enjoy 2 complimentary U-Space sessions during the period of their Membership: please book your time slot at counters 9 or 10.
-
Can I let someone else use my Ticket/Membership?
No. Our Tickets and Memberships can only be used by their respective holders. However, you can give your friends the gift of one-year admission to Erarta Museum: gift Tickets and Memberships are available at the museum’s ticket counters and online.

I don’t reside in St. Petersburg. Which Ticket type should I choose?
We recommend opting for an E-Ticket available for 1000 rubles: it entitles you to a single fast track entry without registration and offers a glimpse into our permanent collection, Erarta’s signature projects (with the exception of U-Spaces), and all temporary exhibitions. If while at the museum you realise that you wish to keep returning for free throughout the year, simply register your Ticket at counters 9 or 10 prior to leaving the museum building - and make sure to stop by on your next trip to St. Petersburg.
If you would like to save on your single visit, queue up to be registered and purchase the 800 ruble Ticket at the museum’s ticket counters.
-
Are there any concessions?
Concession Tickets are available for 600 rubles to visitors aged 15 years or younger and 60 years or older. These Tickets are only available at the museum’s ticket counters. Following registration, Concession Ticket holders enjoy a whole year of unlimited access to our permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, as well as to our complimentary audio guides available through the account.
Children aged 2 or below enjoy free admission to the museum.

What can I see at the museum in one visit?
An E-Ticket (available online) or a Fast Track Ticket (available at the museum’s ticket counters) allows you to experience Russia’s largest private museum of contemporary art. You will be able to see our permanent collection comprising more than 2800 works by artists from all across Russia, as well as foreign artists whose exhibitions took or will take place at Erarta. You will also get a glimpse of the museum’s signature projects, including Audio Installations and Art-Literature, and be able to watch The Adventures of BB Square cartoon series and Art-Animation films at one of our video halls (please note: visiting U-Space installations requires a separate ticket). Last but not least, you will get a chance to see up to ten temporary exhibitions by artists working with different media, from painting to video art (visit our What’s On page to learn more about the current exhibitions).
If while at the museum you realise that you wish to return during the year, simply register your Ticket at counters 9 or 10 prior to leaving the museum building. Following registration, you will be able to keep returning for free to see our new temporary shows (we change them every three months) and gain access to our audio guides that provide a valuable insight into our permanent collection and exhibitions.
