The display of Erarta Museum’s permanent collection (five floors of the building’s Museum Wing) rarely changes, with the exception of recent acquisitions. However, the sheer number and variety of artworks on show make it worth at least two or three introspective visits. Moreover, Erarta’s Exhibitions Wing hosts a new set of exhibitions every 3 months. It means that a quarterly visit to Erarta Museum will keep you posted on the most interesting and significant events in Russian and global contemporary art.
Can I pay online to become a Member?
Adult and Family Membership is available online through the museum's website.
Concession Membership is available only through the museum's reception counters where a valid ID must be presented to verify your date of birth.
An order confirmation form will be emailed to you once you have completed your payment. To exchange it for a personalized plastic card, go to any reception counter (fast track to counter No. 2 if there is a queue) and provide your order number.
If you have purchased your Membership online, you can start visiting the museum on the next day after the purchase. Membership can be activated within 30 days of receipt of the order confirmation form. You can still exchange the order form for a plastic card later, but your Membership will be activated automatically on the 31st day. Your Membership period will start on the activation date.

How to visit Erarta if I am already a Member?
To start visiting the museum, you need to activate your Membership: please contact the museum's reception to fill out a Member questionnaire and receive a personalised plastic card.
If you already have a card, present it at reception counter No. 1 (fast track), and our staff member will let you in through the turnstile.
Members can visit the museum during its regular opening hours for the entire Membership period, i.e. up to and including the date indicated on the personalised plastic card.
If you forgot your Membership card but still want to visit the museum, please contract reception counter No. 1 (fast track) and give your full name to the reception staff member (an ID may be required for verification purposes). You will be able to visit the museum after the verification procedure.
If you have lost your personalised plastic card, contact reception counters No. 2 – 8. Our reception staff will reissue your card. Please present your ID to have your card reissued.
How long is the Membership period?
Your Membership is valid for 1 or 2 year(s) from the date of its activation. The last date of your Membership on which you can still visit the museum is printed on your personalised plastic card.
Can I purchase Membership as a gift?
You can purchase Adult and Family Membership as a gift, either at the museum's reception or online through our website.
When buying online, please take care to provide the correct details of both the purchasing party and the Member. Type GIFT in the ‘Add notes to your order’ field. When ordering 2 or more Memberships, enter the full names of the other Members in the ‘Add notes to your order’ field. Once you have completed your payment, a separate order confirmation form will be emailed to you for each Membership purchased. To ensure that your gift remains a surprise, our team will not email any Membership details to the future Member: you are free to present or email the order confirmation form yourself.
What is a Concession Membership?
Concession Membership is only available through the museum's reception counters. Please present a valid ID to verify the age of the prospective Member.
A one-year Concession Membership is available to visitors aged 21 or younger, a two-year Concession Membership is available to visitors aged 20 or younger.
How can I renew my Membership?
Family and Adult Membership can be renewed either at the museum's reception counters or online through our website.
Concession Membership can only be renewed at the museum's reception counters.
Please pay for the next Membership period to renew your Membership. Don't forget to provide your current Membership number to the reception staff or type it in the ‘Add notes to your order’ field if renewing online.
You can even renew your Membership while it is still valid. In this case, your next Membership period will start on the date following the one indicated on your current Membership card.
If the Membership you want to renew has already expired, your next Membership period will start on the date of payment.
What Membership options do you offer?
There are 3 types of Membership:
Adult. Membership privileges apply to the respective Member only.
Family. Membership privileges apply to a family of up to 2 adults and 3 children up to 14 years of age. All of them will be jointly considered Members.
Concession. Entitles the Member to the same privileges at the Adult Membership. Concession Membership is available only through the museum's reception counters where a valid ID must be presented to verify the age of the prospective Member.
