Nikolai Polissky

Born in 1957 in Moscow, Nikolai studied at the Leningrad Vera Mukhina Higher School of Art and Design and was the only Moscow-born artist to join the Leningrad-based Mitki artistic collective at its inception.

Contemporary artist, sculptor, painter, and lecturer Nikolai Polissky is the most renowned figure in Russian land art. The majority of his site-specific art objects, installations, and other projects are found in the Nikola-Lenivets Art Park in the Kaluga Oblast.
