Denis Patrakeyev

Born in Leningrad in 1987, Denis graduated from the School of Visual Arts of the Herzen State Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg. The artist currently lives and works in St. Petersburg.

Denis Patrakeyev employs the traditional techniques of classical visual arts to portray contemporary experience. His art is inspired by contemplative practices and philosophical teachings, evidenced by the minimalist language, harmonious compositions, and monochrome palette of his creations. Working with wood, stone, metal, and water, Patrakeyev transforms these nature-sourced materials into symbols revealing the profound meanings of human existence.
