Rinat Minnebayev
about the artist
Born in 1964 in Ufa, Rinat Minnebayev studied at the School Visual and Graphic Arts of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. Holder of the honorary titles of Distinguished Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan (2006) and Distinguished Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan (2010), he currently teaches at the Ufa Art College and Ufa Photographic Academy.
Working across the media of digital print, photographic image manipulation, polymer etching, and metal art, Minnebayev creates unique artworks depicting bird’s-eye city views. The artist took part in multiple ethnographic and archaeological expeditions to Mongolia, Khakassia, Buryatia, Tyva, Kyrgyzstan, and Southern Urals.
