Born in Leningrad in 1971, Maxim Nurulin graduated from the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Perm. Chairman of the Perm Branch of the Artists’ Union of Russia and lecturer at the Department of Painting and Composition, the artist lives and works in Perm.
