Yuri Samsonov

Yuri Samsonov was born in 1956 in Krasnodar. After graduating from the School of Architecture of the Far Eastern Polytechnic Institute in Vladivostok, he entered the Scientific Research Institute of Industrial Design (VNIITE) in Moscow for a postgraduate programme in Art History and Criticism. Member of the Artists’ Union of Russia, art restorer, Head of the Collection Restoration Department at the Fyodor Kovalenko Krasnodar Museum of Art, Samsonov lives and works in Krasnodar.
