Anatoliy Gankevich

Anatoliy Gankevich was born in Odessa in 1965. In the early 1990s, after taking a training course at the State Centre for Contemporary Art in Moscow, he embarked on the path of a professional artist. Anatoliy has been exhibiting his art in group and solo shows and collaborating with various art galleries.
The artist uses a signature technique of imitation mosaics based on the traditional medium of oil on canvas. Cutting the ‘mosaic’ outline in a thick layer of paint, he achieves an effect of timeless monumentality.
