Pavel Gorban

Pavel Gorban was born in 1955 in Stavropol into the family of trailblazing artist Pyotr Gorban. In 1975, he graduated from the Stavropol Krai Art College with a degree in painting. The artist lived and worked in Stavropol. In 2003, he initiated the founding of, and for many years curated the permanent exhibition of his father’s works in the city’s Yuri Gagarin Community Centre. Pavel passed away in July 2024.

Pavel Gorban was active in both painting and drawing, creating works of various genres, from landscapes to still lifes.
