Alexander Kompaniets

Alexander Kompaniets was born in 1986 in Krasnodar. In 2006, he graduated from the Krasnodar Art College, and in 2012, from the Repin Institute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecture with a degree in Painting. The artist currently lives and works in Krasnodar Krai.

Kompaniets’s works exploring the world and human presence in it are inspired by the aesthetics of the everyday. The artist combines familiar subject matter and genres with harmoniously melancholic imagery. Ingenious compositions and nuanced colour palette are part of his signature style.
