Yuri Chursin

Yuri was born in 1963 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and spent a long time living and working in Krasnodar, before settling in Sochi in 2019.

In his creative practice, Chursin explores the various facets of conceptual eclecticism and intertextuality inherent in the classical Postmodernism, fusing instantly recognisable but widely disparate imagery present in our shared memory.
