Yuri Perkov

about the artist

Yuri was born in 1951 in Georgievsk, Stavropol Krai. In 1980, he graduated from the Lvov Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. The artist passed away in 2017.

Yuri Perkov’s painting practice largely revolved around the genre of portrait, with occasional still lifes and landscapes. Using bold and dynamic colours, the artist made even the most futuristic visuals and scenes seem real.
