Andrey Vorotilov

Andrey Vorotilov was born in 1978 in Gorky. In 2014, he joined the Artists’ Union of Russia. Since 2010, Andrey has been teaching painting, drawing, and composition at the Boris Ioganson St. Petersburg State Academic Art School.

Vorotilov’s art inquires into the principal issues of being. His paintings are centred around the human being, seemingly snatched for a moment from the non-existence represented by darkness or chaos of flickering symbols.
