Aleksey Golovin

Aleksey Golovin was born in 1987 in Leningrad and graduated from the St. Petersburg State Transport University. The artist lives and works in St. Petersburg.

Golovin’s realistic artworks employ a trademark technique: the artist twists multiple self-tapping screws into a painted MDF board. This time-consuming and physically demanding process is at the heart of the unique visual aesthetics of the finished work. Finely attuned to psychological patterns of modern society, Aleksey Golovin aims to catalogue them, revealing the social aspect of human life through a deeply reflective approach rooted in his own background.
