Dmitry Vysotsky

Animated film director, animation artist, screenwriter, and actor Dmitry Vysotsky was born in Leningrad in 1971.After studying stage direction and acting at the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture, since 1993 he has been working at the Plastilinovaya Masterskaya (Claymation Workshop, later renamed the Vysotsky and Sikorsky Studio) founded jointly with Andrey Sikorsky.

Dmitry Vysotsky directed the animated film series A&B, The Adventures of BB Square, and Kid-E-Cats and conceived the original idea for Lavatory – Lovestory, nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
