Sergey Grinevich

Born in 1960 in the Grodno Oblast, Byelorussian SSR, Sergey Graduated from the Department of Mural Painting of the Belarus Academy of Arts.

Working both as monumental artist (specialising in stained glass and mural painting) and easel painter, Grinevich is a monumentalist not only and not so much in form, but mostly in substance and temperament. Devising powerful visual metaphors, the artist is in a state of questing for the heroic figure of our time.
