Erarta exhibition in Ufa
"Contemporary Russian Art", an exhibition based on the Erarta Museum collection, will open in Ufa Art Gallery on 28 March.
Within the unparalleled long-term project "Russia in Erarta" the museum exhibits regional artists in St. Petersburg and arranges its own exhibitions in the regions. "Contemporary Russian Art" is another big step of the project.
The exhibition presents more than seventy paintings from the museum depository and the permanent exposition. Works by St.-Petersburg authors make the heart of the exhibition. They are primarily significant Erarta artists, who have become the "living classics" over the last 20–30 years: Vyacheslav Mikhailov, Valery Lukka, Felix Volosenkov, Elena Figurina, Anatoly Zaslavsky, Nikolay Sazhin and others.
The exhibition will run until 19 April, 2014.
