Pilates at the Museum: The Fine Art of Movement
Erarta is an undoubted power place at the very heart of St. Petersburg where art serves as a starting point for profound and mindful self-improvement. The cultivation of the mind, however, requires physical effort, encouraging us to seek new formats allowing one to step beyond the quotidian experience on the path of self-discovery.
It was for a reason that this exhibition space was chosen for this unusual practice. Inspired by dance, nature, and architecture, Rob Woodcox’s art presents the body as a harmonious unity of the physical and the spiritual. His imagery explores not only the beauty of movement, but also human vulnerability, strength, and uniqueness.
A training session in such an inspiring environment takes self-care to a whole new level. While working on their physical strength and endurance, the participants will simultaneously enjoy a unique cultural and aesthetic experience.
The session is open to all Erarta Members subject to registration through my Erarta account. Spots are limited, so please make sure to sign up well in advance.
The class starts at 11:30, but it might be a good idea to come half an hour early to check in at the reception and get ready for the practice.
