Anton Batagov is a unique figure in the world of contemporary music. His author's view and spiritual experience are incomparable, and his principles are liberal and convincing. His new project is dedicated to the American composer Philip Glass.

Anton Batagov:

“On January 31, 2017 Philip Glass will turn 80. And on 22 January I will play his etudes in Erarta (for the first time in Russia). It is 20 pieces and about two and a half hours of music.  Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Ligeti and other great composers used to write etudes as well. And by continuing this tradition, Glass raises the genre to a new height”.
