Inna Zhelannaya's band will celebrate their 10th anniversary at Erarta Stage on January 28.
In 2007 the new music project of Inna Zhelannaya has started, and immediately took up the position of the best world music band in Russia. Inna Zhelannaya still works with traditional Russian folklore, but band’s music can’t be described in particular genre — it combines folk, prog-rock, jazz, trance, psychedelic and electronic elements.
In 1994 Inna organised her first band “Farlanders”. In the end of 1998 the “Farlanders” successfully played on one of the world largest forum of ethnic music Worldwide Music Expo (WOMEX) in Stockholm and got a great number of invitations from different countries. Since 1998 Inna's band took part in lots of the most prestigious festivals of ethnic, jazz, pop and rock music, played hundreds of concerts in Germany, UK, France, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Serbia, Slovenia, Poland, Czech Republic, Singapore, Scotland.
Some of her albums have been reissued under the license in Germany (JARO) and the USA (Shanachie).
Inna collaborated with folk singer Mari Boine (Norway), warr-guitarist Trey Gunn (USA), singer and woodwinds player Sergey Starostin (Russia).
