“Blackskywhite” Theater will present their performance “ESM” at Erarta Museum on 20 and 21 March.

Maybe man is best suited to providing names. Historically, mankind has tried to label his existence as a kind of linear movement that uses the image of men generating willful impulses. These impulses attempt to explain the reason for events; they help to establish ties between what mankind thinks about itself and what mankind is in reality. In the end, the reflection replaced in full the original.

The long road from paradise became a symbol of time. Time divided the lives of men into events that became nothing but a link between cause and effect. The foam on the edge of the wave became known as a wave; the garbage and dust that is carried by the wind became known as the wind because the wave disappears into the ocean and the wind into the sky, and there are no forces strong enough to hold them back. The foam stays on the sand, and the dust stays on the road, and they are both always with you.

In this performance there are no events. There is nothing that begins, goes on, or ends. It is not based on a linear chronology. Everything that happens to you is not measured by time — it once began and continues to exist in this world like the space the universe occupies.

Eva brought to the world the experience of birth and death, and these experiences then determined the form of existence of mankind like the change of generations. Namely this, and not history, has determined what we look like when we are together or separate.

Salome brought to the world the feeling that the space within us is like a bottomless pit, and the potential to fall into this pit is never more than a step away. Beauty and love can be synonymous to good while simultaneously being seductive and a source of evil.

Mary Magdalene brought knowledge to the world that evil cannot isolate us from the light. Evil is extremely powerful and tempting, it is difficult to resist this seduction, it is hard not to be tempted by this threat. Although evil can take control of man, it cannot become the Holy Father. Evil is temporary, and it feeds on time.
