The concert of guitarist Petteri Sariola will take place in Erarta Museum and Galleries of Contemporary Art on the 24th of October.
Petteri Sariola (born in 1984) is a Finnish musician well-known for his unique percussion technique of guitar playing. Petteri started playing in the age of seven. After participation in many projects and bands he became a truly orchestra-man, being able to play parts of several instruments at the same time and also doing vocals. During his career Petteri Sariola played about a thousand concerts in Europe, USA and Germany. Amount of views with his performances on YouTube reaches one million. The musician won Nokia grand for young talents and honorable prize Helsinki Funk Awards, became a guitarist of the year according to City Magazine Guitarist. A photo of him was on the cover of Akustic Gitarre — the main European magazine devoted to guitars.
While developing his solo career, Sariola also collaborated with such musicians as Doug Wimbish (Madonna), Jon Gomm (Great Britain), Mike Dawes (Great Britain), Felix Zenger (James Brown).
