Malinen is a young singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and a sound producer from St. Petersburg. He started her musical career in 2012, and has so far received only positive reviews both from the critics and the audience. His sound and creative approach are new to Russia. His charm and charisma make him a welcome at any club and festival in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Baltic countries.

Even though the project is relatively young, it is already supported by such established resources as Russian adults, Look at me, Fairlane acoustic and others. And there is no surprise about that since the talented musicians immediately attract their audience with sincere manner of performing. Among the band's musical influences there are Simon and Garfunkel, Kings of convenience, Seabear and Fleet Foxes.

In autumn 2016 MALINEN band are leaving for a long tour with their new album ‘Contact Print’ (8 beautiful songs in English ranging from blues to indie-ballads). The musicians are planning to visit all the major Russian cities of the Far East, Siberia, the Urals, and the South. And in 2017 they’ll play in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, France, Finland etc.
