Konstantin Zvezdochetov, Leonid Fedorov (Auktyon Band), Dmitry Shagin and other great artists will play a forestry comedy by Alexei Hvostenko and Henri Volokhonsky on April 1 at Erarta Stage.
We still don't know how Alexei Hvostenko and Henri Volokhonsky came up with their forestry comedy "The First the Mushroom". The original plot was written by Hvost primarily in prose on a typewriter. Later, Henry turned most of his text into poetry.
The idea of staging "The First Mushroom" belonged to Anna Hvostenko. It was dedicated to Hvost's 75th birthday anniversary and brought together the brightest and the most outrageous artists of his circle. Today "The first mushroom" is a unique opportunity to immerse into and get connected to the legendary Leningrad underground and avant-garde art traditions.
