On June 14, Sunday, Great Revivers will present at Erarta their first album, released on vinyl by FunkNight Records in Detroit.
Instrumental music by Great Revivers is anything but old-fashioned, even though the musicians play vintage instruments and record on reel-to-reel recorders at their own studio.
The band began in St. Petersburg in 2011, when the participants of Wake & Bake (funk) and The Reggaenauts (early reggae) decided to improvise together. Initially the stylistic vector was formulated as hammond groove, funk and library music. And it still remains the same.
Instruments: drums, bass, guitar, percussion and organ.
