Ark Ovrutski, a bass player, composer, band leader, laureate of numerous jazz festivals and author of various international jazz projects, is considered to be one of the best living jazz bassists.

Over the last 12 years, Ark Ovrutsky has collaborated with Curtis Fuller, Carmen Lundy, Mark Soskin, Steve Williams and many others.

Since 2007, Ark Ovrutsky has been living in the United States. He graduated from a PhD programme of the Rutgers University graduate and a PhD programme at the University of Illinois (major in bass). In April 2010, he recorded his first album “Sounds of Brazil” featuring Duduka Da Fonseca, Craig Handy, Helio Alves and Jorge Continentino.  The album was highly acclaimed by the US critics, just as the second one "44:33" which was released in 2014. Both albums received positive feedback in the jazz world, and Downbeat magazine published a big article about Ark Ovrutsky in the ‘Players’ column.

As for the special guest star, the saxophonist Dean Tsur is a brilliant representative of the young generation of Israeli musicians. He has performed at such famous venues and festivals as Blue Note, Birdland, Red Sea Jazz Festival, Tel Aviv Jazz Festival. Tsur is also the winner of the North American Saxophone Alliance Competition (2014) and a semifinalist of the Thelonious Monk Jazz Saxophone Competition (2013).
