On October 24, the exhibition of works from the Erarta collection "Contemporary Russian Painting" opened in Almaty (Kazakhstan)
This is the first time Erarta collection will be presented beyond Russia in such a great scale. The exhibition "Contemporary Russian Painting" features over seventy paintings from the storage and permanent exposition of Erarta Museum. The exhibition mainly presents St. Petersburg artists, among them such prominent names that over the past 20–30 years have become living classics: Vyacheslav Mikhailov, Valery Lukka, Felix Volosenkov, Elena Figurina, Anatoly Zaslavsky, Nikolay Sazhin and others.
Almaty exhibition is held under the long-term project "Russia at Erarta", which has no analogues in the country.
