Ballet.Theatre Dance Performances at Rob Woodcox’s Show on 28 August

24 August 2026

On Friday, 28 August, Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art will host performances by the Ballet.Theatre contemporary dance company inspired by the exhibition Rob Woodcox. Unlimited Capabilities of the Body

Rob Woodcox’s art photography explores the seemingly endless potential of the human body, using it as an artistic tool to create complex compositions and imagery. Within the exhibition space, Ballet.Theatre’s choreography will continue this exploration through music and movement. The company’s dance performance was envisioned by choreographer Daria Vergizova, composer Lera Finkelstein, and dancers Anton Yegorov, Renata Karimova, and Arina Fyodorova.

Established in 2018, Ballet.Theatre is a contemporary dance company which started out as a small group of creative individuals and evolved into a collaborative platform for independent talents. It brings together Russian and international artists to stage shows featuring original music, choreography, scenography, and video art.

The theatre’s productions appeared at a number of prestigious festivals, including Open Look, Vitebsk International Festival of Modern Choreography, and Istanbul Fringe Festival. The company was a two-time nominee for the Golden Spotlight, St. Petersburg's primary theatre award.

The shows will take place at 19:00 and 20:00 within the space of Rob Woodcox. Unlimited Capabilities of the Body on floor 2 of the Exhibitions Wing. Both runs are free for visitors with a valid Erarta Ticket or Membership.
