‘Red Banner Division Named After My Grandmother’ is a Moscow orchestra of twelve musicians playing strings, winds and drums. At the end their eclectic polyphonic music with tenacious choruses and absurdist lyrics seem to be inspired by the fantastic Tove Jansson and L. Frank Baum.

The exalted orchestral post-rock, Soviet children's literature, American archetypes, dancing, shoegaze, polyphonic choir, afro-pop and starched pleated dresses ... KDIMB will play a big solo concert at Erarta Stage on May 8. "The granny is here!"
